How to shorten a link
Three levels. Zero tutorials.
Paste the monster.
Copy the full http:// or https:// address, every affiliate ID and campaign tag included.
Hit Slay it.
You get a short link in the form urlig.com/ plus six characters. The destination stays the one you pasted.
Grab the loot.
Copy it, take the QR code if you need one, and open it once yourself before you post it.
Unlocked from level one.
iGaming? Welcome.
Lawful casino, sports betting, poker, esports, bonus and promo pages are allowed in writing, in our House rules. You do not have to guess whether a casino link breaks a general shortener's policy.
Tags ride along.
Affiliate IDs, sub IDs, click IDs and UTM parameters reach the destination with their values unchanged.
Stats with a +.
Add + to any short link to see its clicks.
QR drop.
A QR code for every link, as an SVG for streams and print.
X-ray vision.
See where a short link goes before you open it.
Every tag survives the hit.
An affiliate link is mostly payload: an affiliate ID, a sub ID for the channel, a click ID, a handful of UTM tags. Lose one and the conversion lands on nobody's report. URLiG keeps the long URL with all its parameters, so they arrive in the same order with the same values. Nothing is compressed or stripped on the way: link shortening changes only the address people see.
We checked it with a test link full of tags, an encoded space and an escaped ampersand. The address that came out the other end matched the original byte for byte. The short address only points: it does not create an affiliate ID, change one or track conversions for you.
Your hi-score, no account
Add a +.
Put + at the end of a short URL from URLiG, for example urlig.com/abc123+, and the hi-score screen opens.
Read the board.
Total clicks, clicks over time, countries, referrers, browsers and operating systems, for the last 20,000 clicks. Bots, link previews and repeat taps can count too, so read it as traffic to the link rather than as people.
Public scoreboard.
No login, so anyone with the short link can open it too.

Different posts, same problem: the URL has taken over the message. Shorten a link and the text is back in charge, with the full destination still behind it. Working with affiliate links all day? See how URLiG fits that job ▸
House rules. Play fair.
✓ Allowed
Lawful, adult-directed casino, sports betting, poker, esports, bonus and promo pages.
✕ Banned
Phishing, malware, spam blasts, impersonation and anything unlawful.
You are responsible for the destination you share and for the rules of the channel where you post it. A short link does not guarantee any platform will accept it.
Moves we do not have
No custom domains, no custom codes, no public API. No editing either: without an account there is nowhere to change a destination later, so make a new link instead. And no cheat codes: no rotators, cloaking or tricks to slip past a platform's filters. If a feature on that list is what you need, this URL shortener is the wrong tool, and we would rather say so here.
Quick answers.
What is a URL shortener?
A link shortener stores your long URL and gives you a new, compact address for it. Opening that address sends people on to the original page with a redirect. When you shorten a URL, the page itself is not copied or changed.
Is it free? What is the catch?
Yes. URLiG is a free URL shortener and needs no sign-up. Sponsored banners pay for it: once a link has had 30 clicks, visitors may see a checkpoint page that shows where the link leads, with banners, before they continue. The destination never changes.
Can I shorten a casino or betting link?
Yes, when the destination and the way you share it are lawful and follow our House rules. URLiG is for adults, and our permission does not override a platform's or an affiliate programme's own rules.
Can I change or delete a link later?
Not yourself. Links are made without an account, so there is no dashboard. If a destination is wrong, create a new link. If a link breaks our rules, report it.
Will my link work everywhere?
No shortener can promise that. Messaging apps and social networks can apply their own rules to shortened URLs. Test the link in the channel you plan to use before a big post.
How do I check where a link goes?
Paste it into Check a link. It works for URLiG and other shorteners and shows each redirect before you open anything. Something looks wrong? Report it.
The next round.
The next monster URL is probably already in your clipboard.
